CARBON FIBRE IMPREGNATION ADHESIVE

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Fiber composite materials include carbon fiber (CFRP), aramid fiber (AFRP) and glass fiber (GFRP). Carbon fiber cloth is the most commonly used fiber composite for reinforcement. Fiber composite material reinforcement has advantage of lightweight and high strength, and seamless. It can adapt to the surface shape of the concrete on application. It is corrosion-resistant, moisture-resistant and easy construction. The Bond Chemicals provide the thixotropic monosilicate system products for carbon fiber sheet bonding and reinforcement purposes. Optionally it also provides Impregnated type of products. Following are the main characteristics:

Eco-friendly products, construction safe and reliable

EP-316 is a single-gel system with good Infiltration, thixotropy and defoaming properties.

High mechanical strength which ensuring the overall performance of reinforcement components

Low shrinkage on curing, with long-term carrying capacity and anti-aging properties

Anti-moisture permeability, good water resistance and corrosion resistant properties.

APPLICATIONS

CoolBond® EP-313 and EP-316 are two-component adhesives made from asphalt-modified epoxy. They have the characteristics of both epoxy and asphalt. It has excellent outdoor performance such as waterproof, anti-aging and anti-corrosion. They are general purpose epoxy adhesives for building construction materials such as metal, concrete, stone, brick and hard plastic. They are ideal for road and bridges with asphalt concrete pavement.
